Our Story

Meza was founded in 2021 by Miriam Meza, a Mexican contemporary artist based out of Boston MA. Miriam graduated from Brown University in 2018 with a B.A. in Business & a refined exposure to visual arts. Over the years, She has leaned into her artistic aesthetic to shape “MEZA” as a lifestyle brand that offers fine art prints, greeting cards, custom stationery items, and journals to make your everyday more colorful.

Our Process

During her painting process she often resonates with the delicateness of watercolor and texture of color pencils. She uses highly pigmented professional watercolor pans & quality synthetic hair bristles to create archival quality paintings. Every painting is made with admiration, passion and patience for the energy created by color & flower theory.

Our Look

Miriam strives to create timeless, romantic, dreamy paintings through bold color choices and charming flower compositions. She draws inspiration from her childhood memories in NYC, where central park was her playground and her mother tenderly cared for plants inside their small low-income apartment. Her exposure to a city that embraced the charm of flowers to uplift lives inspired her to recreate the same energy in her work.

The themes of regional landscapes, animal life, food & spirits appear in her current work with a quirky and botanical twist.
